For example, if you get an A in English XY at a CC, it will not raise your GPA. |

are they something that you would recommend or is it one of those things that they try to push on you but really isnt all that beneficial. |

| Depends on whom you ask. Most would probably agree that it is the latter. |

| Yea, freshman clusters do restrict your freedom. Take GEs that you want, rather than those which are forced upon you. |

| ONLY take a cluster if you are really genuinely interested, and if the GEs it covers aren't covered by your major.
otherwise, waste of time. but if you're in college honors it's an easy way to get 15 honors units. biggest perk is that the spring seminar takes care of writing II and seminar... but you have to get through the first two quarters first x.x
oh yah. unless you're hugely into literature or philosophy, avoid history of modern thought. too many books, too much reading, too much pain -.- |

| the bathrooms are generally pretty nice... and for the bed everyone gets individual beds so you don't have to share lol it would be quite weird for two guys to sleep on the same bed ehe? but if you meant you want the loft then I would say when you get your roommate assignment around august... call or facebook them, just be casual about it like ask if they have thought about who gets what, express your want and in most cases i think they wouldn't refuse if you ask since you guys barely knew each other and don't want to start on the wrong foot... if all else fails, move in 2 days early and claim everything you want... last year me and my roommates planned out everything before we moved in, we decided who gets what bed, desk, dresser... who is bring TV and fridge, and even how we are re arranging the room for more space |
