| Sports events I was just wondering if students are able to buy tickets to basketball and football games. When I was on the campus tour, I heard that you can buy a season pass for football, but not for men's basketball.
Is it impossible for students to get tickets to a few basketball games? |

| I'm confused: You said, "if you get bball student tix, the fball will come with it." But bball is also on a lottery basis. Also, I thought with the lottery system you only got bball tix for single games, not for a whole year. Ahh confused!!! can someone explain that lol? thanks
also, when do fball/bball tix go on sale for freshmen? |

| They've already been on sale, I'm not sure if they've done the second round of drawings for season passes, but I've gotten my basketball plan already. If you don't get a season pass for basketball, you can buy individual tickets. Football season passes are easily gotten though, but you have to buy both football+basketball to get basketball tickets. If you have a season pass for basketball you have the option to camp out the night before games to grab priority passes (which will get you the floor seats where you see the student section on TV). UCLA Bruins - Tickets
It says July 15th, but I'd just buy it now to be safe. (and just shoot for Blue and Gold plan since the cost of the extra games is negligible for what it's worth). Sitting front row = priceless.. I mean, I had better seats than Denzel Washington =P. |

| lottery is NOT for single tickets, it is for SEASON tickets. If you were to get picked for basketball SEASON tickets, then it comes with football season tickets.
basketball tickets for individual games go on sale on an hour prior to the event, if there are any left. |

| k, so if i buy the blue and gold plan (best one?) by the end of this week, i'll be guaranteed all home football games including USC, and i'll be entered into a lottery for basketball tix?
if i win the lottery or w/e, is that for the whole season? when do you find out if you've won the lottery?
Lastly, someone said if you don't get the lottery you can buy single game tix or season tix....but that's just for general admission, NOT the student section, correct?
THANK YOU!!! |

| No, I'm pretty ****ed about that actually. I had B&G last year, and now I have just Gold. They switched to having it be 2 drawings for everybody and no rollovers, with 1 extra one for people who already had it. You get to pick a 2nd choice plan (so if you don't get blue and gold). Otherwise, if you don't get bball tickets, you can choose just to get football or not. As per basketball individual tickets, you can wait outside the pauley ticket office a few hours before game time to grab student tix (upper deck), space permitting, or you can buy regular tickets (upper deck usually $35 or so). |

| 2nd choice plan would be... say... Blue or Gold (including bball), then they'd give you your third, which is the one you didn't pick, then finally.. if you completely lucked out, just football. |
