What if I don't want to take UCLA's Federal/Stafford loan? I was planning on taking an interest free loan from a private organization near my house, and the rest as a loan from my bank. Do I still register on that site to do this? And also, what if I enter a loan amount, but end up getting some money from a scholarship. Does the loan automatically subtract that amount?

There will be financial aid counselors at orientation, if my memory serves. You should ask them then.

You're going to have to wait for your eFAN since that's the official finaid letter. Then you can select the financial aid payment plan. If not, then just send them an email, at least that's what I did.
