life sci physics

i am currently enrolled in physics 6a in the fall and i plan to take 6b and 6c following. i will be a sophomore in the fall.

i initially wanted to take honors physics but they don't offer it the next academic year. is it too late / would i go wrong by taking all physics junior year assuming they have honors then??

i am pretty sure i want to go to medical school so perhaps i'll have the physics background for the mcats after junior year...

btw if i ultimately decide to take physics next year, miao vs. bruinsma is a close call. i have a choice but idk who to pick.

it's not a problem taking physics your junior year if you aren't a life science major. however, if you are a LS major, some of your upper divs might (i know neuro does) have a physics requirement.

ooh ok thanks. u mean requirement of taking 6a, 6b, and 6c? or just 6a? i'm thinking if there is honors in my junior year, i just take 6a sophomore year then finish 6b and 6c junior year.

how related are each of the courses? is it recommended to take a whole year of physics straight in order to not forget concepts learned in the previous ones?

actually not too many classes in mcdb and mimg require physics. i know neuro 101A requires 6B and i believe some phy sci classes require 6a.

the classes aren't terribly related. it should be easy to space the physics courses out

can't go over 10 units when enrolling during first pass.

first pass is for everyone to have 10 units. remember not everyone has priority.

yes, you can.
