Is it possible to get internet connection from a game console in the dorms?

yes I believe so, the land line for the dorm requires you to install a program called resnet onto your computer inorder to get online, I have yet to figure out how to get that onto my ps3, BUT if you have a wireless router it'll do the trick as you can just connect landline into the router and have your ps3/xbox360/wii connect to that router... speed will be slower but if you have a computer/laptop that needs internet it isn't a bad option to use a router.

lmao i never give them the mac address last year haha... it worked fine for me and my neighbor just using the router...

yeah but the weird thing is I registered for it during zero week, it stopped working around 2nd week, I went back they said i never registered it, then when I went back to the dorm it works again so i didn't go back to register it lol
