im a junior and i recently got into honors program!
i heard if i graduate with honors it would look better on grad/profession school and record!
question is:
1) How hard are the honors classes compare to regular classes.
2)Is it a big difference graduating with honors or no honors?
3)It seems like the class sizes are smaller so does the classes get filled really fast so i won't able to take any honors classes?

no it doesnt look better for grad/professional schools. college honors designation is more for your own self-pride

1) depends on the course, obviously. some are more focused and harder, some are easier, some are no different, some are just 1 unit add ons that give you "1+whatever # units the nonhonors class is" of honors credit

2) no. again self pride

3)depends again on the specific class, obviously. writing 2 course? fills fast just like any other writing 2 course. honors collegium? depends on reputation of the course. also anyone can sign up for honors classes, not just honors students

Departmental Honors also satisfies some of the requirements of College Honors Coursework, so you could do both if you were worried about graduate school. Also, my experience in the Honors Program has been great, I've always worked hard, but with the Honors Program I've made a lot of great connections with faculty that will help me in the future.(Full disclosure: I'm an Honors Fellow, so I'm not entirely impartial).
Anyway, with Junior standing or higher, getting into honors classes is not a problem ,especially when you've got priority enrollment. Also, it depends what your major is, or if you're double majoring or something--that tends to make trying to fit in honors requirements a bit harder. It depends on what your goals are.

my goal is to attend med/dental school!
i thought honors programs is plus for med school but i guess not..

go for honors if youre really into seminar-esque classes and 'self-pride' and that sort... otherwise, they are better ways to be competitive for professional/graduate programs or securing a job in the future

Depends on when you joined, and how many units you had upon entry to the honors college. Transfer students only need 28. You're expected to start out with 8, advanced to 16-20 your second year, and somewhere from 24-32 the third year(your final total depends upon what year you join, and upon which plan you chose when joining)
