UCLA Bar - for those questions that take less than 5 posts to answer...

If you have a question that can be answered quickly, post here. If you're tempted to make a thread that will probably have less than five posts in it, post here. If you need to vent, post here.

I'm sick of all these dwm-y threads that have like three posts each and just clutter up the forum.

Here, quick question: Will a Linksys wireless-G router work with the campus network? Can I just start using it or do I need to register it somewhere?

You need to go to STC and get it registered before it will work, just like with any other router.

Hopefully this Bar wont get deleted.

Who is the admin deleting all these GOOD THREADS!@#! I AM ANGRY AT YOU!!!

Is there a swim team people can join that isn't the one that has Olympians and other ridiculously talented swimmers on it? ...You know a swim team that's kinda just more for fun and/or practice?

i dont think ur screwed...i think they save some classes for students that go to later orientations ...for example they actually closed a math 31 A class for 2 months and saved like 60 spots (at one point everything was closed, full and waitlisted) and then they opened enrollment for it 4 days ago...
i was in session 107 and didn't have access to that class until this week. it was a good thing i checked cuz now i have a much better schedule

pick,

i went to one of the earlier orientations and all the English Comp 3 classes were closed. Just last week, they opened a LOT of the lectures by adding 5 more spots for each lecture. I think these spots are open for later orientations.

Yes we should! But then that would instantly determine the fate of this thread.
