I actually think i would like the Valley better, but just because the dorm's in the Mariposa are brand new, was one of my main reasons(and some of the reasons i have listed on the page before this). Even thought the other dorms are only a few years old.

I havnt said anything to my roommate. All i know is his name is victor.

Do you care about the nationality of your room mate? I don't really but I tend to prefer Asian or Jewish room mate because of their study habits. Dunno how I would be able to pick one though lol

I'm not racist so i dont really care who i get, lol. Just as long they keep the dorm REALLY clean!! Cuz i am like a neat freak!

I hate a dirty filthy room because it results in a cluttered mind. I also do not care the nationality of my roommate as long as he is clean, doesn't party to much, and takes a shower EVERYDAY(my friend at UCB told me about her roommate who never showers and who smells really bad lol). Those are the three main things.

Wow you guys are already picking roommate and dorms? I'm waiting for orientation, after that, I will decide.

I know exactly what u mean.

1. Take shower a LEAST every day
2. Is not filthy and dirty OR(thinks farting in a small room is funny)
3. Doesnt bring all 25 of his friends into the door for a party

I've heard that if ur roommate leaves (drops out) that u get the whole room to ur self. And they wont replace ur roommate. IS that true?

I don't know which hall I'm going to. I want to wait till orientation so they can explain these halls better. On the website it doesn't explain them.

I think that is ture Arian19 because on bobcat day that's what a UCM student told me.

Arian19, it depends on when they drop out. One of my D's roomates asked to transfer to another dorm early this semester and the room became a double. We were told if she had asked before the start of 2nd semester we would have been charged the double rate.
Azn, don't worry freshman are guaranteed housing they will make doubles into triples if necessary.
