What to bring?

Any suggestions on what to bring besides a desk lamp, laptop, fridge/microwave, toothbrush, shampoo? Do we need to bring our own bed sheets and stuff? I barely have anything packed so i feel like i'm missing something.

Yes... you need bedsheets, towels, school stuff (pencils, pens, paper, binders, laptop, printer, printer paper etc.)
Bathroom stuff is also quite helpful (toilet paper, cleaning stuff).
Housing provides 1 roll of t.p. per week per person, but buying a big pack is always a good idea.
Umm...tissues, laundry detergent, and a laundry bag of some sort.
Extension cords, flash drive, other electronic cords (cell phone charger, etc.)
Hangers for your clothes, a shoe hanging device to store shoes is always helpful if you are a girl (or, if you just have a lot of shoes).

I'd recommend for any freshman to put at least 50$ worth of money on their flex plan for laundry at the beginning of the year. Applying money or using quarters as you go can be quite frustrating (I found that out the hard way last year).

A lamp that can clip on your bed is always nice (make sure the cord is long so it can reach an outlet tho).

A calendar.

Oh, and make sure you buy the right size of sheets (X-long).
