Shared Experience Program

I was recently offered the Shared Experience Program. For me, it's two years at Merced, then a transfer to Berkeley. Has anyone here participated in this program? Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks!

I have friends who are in the program.

You have to maintain a 3.5 GPA and satisfy the breadth requirements for your major. You also have a special shared experience adviser on campus. Your specific major requirements can be discussed with your shared experience adviser should you choose to come to UCM.

I hope this helped.

Thanks for replying!

Have your friends successfully transferred? Do you know if they have classes just for shared experience participants?

My friends have successfully transferred.

I do not know for sure if they have classes specifically for shared experience...I really don't see the point in having them, especially if you just have to satisfy your breadth requirements of your major.

However, this is something you can talk about with your shared experience adviser, should you choose to come to UCM.
