I was accepted as a Highlander Scholar, but it's nice to have another message. I got Regents too, yippee!!

Congratulations to everyone else who got in too

And to those who don't know yet...don't give up, they'll get to you soon =]

Good luck!

I'm in as well!

It's not my first choice, but it'll be nice to say I got in somewhere and will be going to college! I called my dad and he jokingly said: "Good, you got into college, now when are you moving out?"

Congrats everyone!

wow, Haberdashery, how did you not get a scholarship?

I had somewhat lower stats than you, but i got a chancellor's scholarship.

UCGPA: 4.1
SAT I: 1880
SAT II: 740/670

but then again, i did have like over 355 hours of comm. service and other ec's.

i have ec's too, lol, i used to be in sports (3) and choir and now i have 2 leadership positions in 2 clubs but i dunno, lol, i was bummed out

did u think it may have anything to do with the fact that i only submitted my fafsa for ucr two days ago, or that i was one of the randomly selected people to verify an activity and received a confirmation just today stating that the UCs believe that i am in "X" ec?

before today, i was seriously considering attending UCR but w/out the scholarship, i might as well pay extra for another school

Maybe you should call UCR's Financial Aid office. Your scores look pretty good to me...you should've gotten at least Chancellor's! I don't know if it had anything to do with your FAFSA though...these scholarships are only merit-based. It might have to do with your verification though...hopefully you can work something out with Admissions!

Congratulations again to everyone!

I'm pretty sure these scholarships don't have anything to do with your FAFSA, because I haven't done mine yet either.

Anyways, I got in as a Highlander Scholar with Regents.
