I visited UCSC this weekend, but I didn't really like it *I'm not saying the school was bad. It just wasn't the kind of atmosphere/setting I was looking for*. I'm going to visit UCR on highlander day on the 26th. If none of my appeals to a couple other UCs go through, then I'm most likely going to Riverside.
Transferring from UCR is not that difficult at all if you dont find your fit. I was admitted to UChicago, Cornell and Harvey Mudd out of UCR. Of course, it really matters on how hard you work - I had a 4.0
