| Who is going to UCR alone? I just checked my appeal status today for Irvine and I was denied, so I'm pretty sure UCR is where I'll be at. I don't know anyone else who is going to UCR from where I am from and I was just curious who else is in the same situation that I'm in. |

| I am!
Don't worry about it though! If you have a facebook, join the UCR group and talk to some people. Everyone is really awesome. Honestly, you'll probably make tons of new friends as soon as you get there so not knowing anyone will be no big deal. |

| I'm going alone also. my appeal failed for UCD. so now i head to UCR. I'm not to sad though, its far away from home, and i want a new start. from norcal to so cal.
UCR isn't bad, its still a pretty good school, it is still a UC. and the smog doesn't bother me, and i dont mind the heat to much, im used to it. I can always transfer if i need to anyways |

| Is UCR like seriously everybody's last choice? I didn't even bother appealing to any schools, i just think if they didn't want me the first time, what's going to make them want me the second time.
So i'm totally going to UCR alone. all my friends are going to irvine or sd...depressing. but it's ok, i'll have all of you guys. whoa that sounds creepy, ha |

| My appeals to Berkeley and Davis got rejected, and I'm still waiting to hear from LA and Santa Barbara.
However, I'm registered at UCR, and if I wind up going there, I'll be perfectly happy with it. And if I want to, I might try to transfer to another UC after a while. |
