Withdrawing from UCR

I appealed to UCI, and i was wondering if I would be able to cancel the housing contract for UCR if I got admitted to UCI. And if i did cancel, would I be losing the $250 first payment?

From what I know, you lose your deposit but you can cancel your SIR to Riverside. My girlfriend just did this successfully when she got into Davis through appeal.
