Hello Future Class of UCR

Hi,
I am currently a Resident Advisor and graduating fourth year Environmental Science Toxicology.
If you have any questions regarding housing, meal plans, or anything about UCR, I should be able to give you an answer.
If you haven't seen the Residence Halls you can to Pentland Hills any time from 8AM-5PM. However, contracts did come out on the 5-1-08 and Pentland is the first to fill up.

Lol, I really thought East Lo filled out first just because Pentland is more expensive. I guess money isn't an object to UCR students. =P I was wondering, what's in university village? All I saw when I passed by there were food places. And is there anywhere to go grocery or clothes shopping within walking distance? TY for offering help =D

UV-University Village

At the UV there are variety of food places such as Village Wok (Chinese) and other Asian food. There is also a rubios. The UV also feature a cinema where it shows new movies and is also utilized as a classroom. To be honest there really is not much that is accessible walking distant for clothes, unless you count Kmart . However, as a UCR student you do have full access to RTA for free (Riverside Bus System). With that you can go to Moreno Valley Mall which features many different venues to purchase. Also the Galeria in Tyler, my female residents love going there.
For grocery there is also Stater Brothers which is walking distance next to Kmart. There is a Ralphs in the Canyon Crest Town Center. The Costco/Winco is located next to the Moreno Valley Mall.
East Lothian should be available as long as you submitted your contract by now. The reason why people choose Pentland is mainly for the bathrooms and privacy.

I stayed up on 5/1 to be one of the first ones to fill out the housing contract. but then the next day i realized i had to change something so i went back and clicked on the "update " contract button, then after i changed it the website made me re-submit the whole thing.

So does this mean that now the date i submitted it would be the latter date not 5/1?

I've been stressing over this since it's first come and all

does anyone know how the gender situation at pentland works? are the different sexes on different floors, or just in different suites? Different buildings?

They're just in different suites. In the Pentland Hills building I toured, it was two girls suites and two guys suites on the bottom floor and likewise on the top floor.
