twilightgirl, make sure you pack a lot of skirts, shorts, and capri's for the fall. You are quite likely to have very warm temps till Dec. September and Oct are usually very warm months in Riverside, add hot, dry, Santa Ana winds (in the fall) and you'll be surprised by the difference between N.Cal and SCal.

Well, hot and dry is better than hot and humid.

I spent a few months at Stanford a few years ago and it was humid like never before, and hot - comparable to Riverside

this is inland Norcal

I saw some girls wearing uggs during orientation. I was like w t f, seriously? -.-

Don't wear layers of layers of clothing. Bring water or juice from home. You can put it in the microfridge and go back to it later. You might be thirsty at night and at the end of orientation of day 2.

It is REALLY REALLY hot though. To be more specific simply type in "riverside weather" in google. lol.

Well.. before orientation they have muffins, juice, water, and coffee.. Then you wait until lunch.. then dinner.. then you are on your own. D: There are vending machines thouhg. I took a bottle of juice in the morning and put it in my bag. LOLOL. Then I put it in the fridge and drank it at night. I also brought my own water since I'm very picky about the water I drink. lolol
