| required foreign language!
ok is it just me, or is taking 3 years of foreign language a ridiculous requirement (for creative writing majors at least) to give out, if we already did foreign languages in high school for 3 years! gahhh

wow. 3 years of college foreign language would be really different though. you will be up to level 9 of ONE language!

foreign language is a waste of time, i took two years of Spanish already, and now i look back and think, what do i need to talk to Mexicans for?

my spanish isnt the best, well written, but I use it in a daily basis.
I want to take arabic but they only offer two years of it

Well, if you go to Europe, particularly France, and only know English, then you're screwed
Besides, people in Spain speak Spanish, not just Mexicans, dur
I'm thinking about continuing spanish and learning japanese |

i took 2 years of spanish and i didn't learn anything
all i did was memorize the vocabs before a quiz
god i hate spanish..such bad memories

anyways, so its 3 years for the breadth reqs?
i heard about the testing out, thing maybe i should consider that. it would definitely save me alot of credits and time.
