What religion am I...?

I am chinese and every now and then, my parents would light incense and put out plates of food offerings in our home as homage to the gods. So am I considered a buddhist even though I don't go to church, but I do follow a little prayer that my parents does during the lighting of the incense. I am so confused... Can anyone relate?
