How to dress for work-study interview?

I am going to have a work study interview pretty soon on campus (it's for an office as an assistant, mostly clerical work) and am just wondering how dressed up I should get. I know that a tie and long sleeved-shirt are usually the protocol in just about any job interview, but am just wondering that since this will be a job on campus that the dress expectations are more lenient? I'm thinking a nice pair of khakis and polo. Assuming that I were to get hired and had to work before or after class, I wouldn't be expected to be in a shirt and tie as I'm running around campus, right?

Hope someone can help. Thanks!

Its better to overdress than to underdress.

^Agreed

I think part of the reason I landed my jobs is because I took the effort to put on some slacks and a nice shirt. It doesn't make any difference that nobody actually wears such attire during the workday.
