Missed Orientation

I am a transfer student and I will be missing the sixth college orientation due to some personal/family issues. Who do I email regarding this? Also, what is the worst that can happen for me missing? Can I get my admission rescinded?

I'm not in sixth but at Marshall's orientation the leaders said if we didnt show a hold would be placed on our account, we would be dropped from all our classes, and we wouldnt be able to re-register until we made up the whole orientation. I'm sure if they know a while beforehand that you wont be making it something could be worked out though. I'd still recommend finding a way to get there.. just in case. And I would recommend contacting the class advisers about it. If they aren't the ones to talk to they will send you to the right person.

definitely DO NOT email. You want to be 100% sure that you are safe. Call them

(858) 534-1481 would be a nice place to start, tell them it's in regard to not making it to orientation due to a last minute family emergency. They aren't cold heartless people. I'm sure they will understand

oh and welcome to UCSD.
