thats the unofficial award..they are talking about actually accepting the award and getting the money

Did anyone else receive a letter from the STUDENT LOAN XPRESS asking you to confirm the eligibility of a possible low cost federal education loan? I'm naturally a bit wary of student loan offers as most of them are hoaxes but this one sounds kind of familiar, it's called the Federal PLUS loan.

...so is it valid? The more I look at it, the more I think it's some **** as I would assume legitimate loan offers would most likely come in a UCSD verified package...

yea...i got that in my mail too.
i thought it was some kind of ****.
one of my friends, who's going to cal state fullerton,
got that in her mail as well.
So....i don't think that is IT.

i got a scholarship like, last month. they sent it to me a while back, and then they requested i write a thank you letter too.

official financial aid awards are available online...

did anyone else's UCSD grant-in-aid go down significantly??

I would tell you if I could, hellokitty11, but all I see on my financial aid page is:

Application Completed:
Complete for Disbursement: Not ready for disbursement

Documents Needed: DEPENDENT VERIFICATION WORKSHEET

I just e-mail'ed UCSD about this and will probably call them later today, too.

since i haven't gone to my home in san diego... i don't know if they are in the mail... i got them online through tritonlink or that thing....
