Revelle dorms weren't that bad IMO, they had lots of space which was pretty nice.

@mil ..i live in the dorms now and theyre not bad at all, i have a single but my suitemates have never complained..and even if you think theyre bad, youll be in them a year, so in the long run it doesnt really matter that your freshman year you were in them..it goes by fast!

this is exciting to hear many people choosing UCSD over higher rank colleges. Now that it's been over three weeks, I actually feel even better about choosing SD. GO TRITONS!

UCSD over university of washington, oregon state university, and boston university...hopefully

my second choice is university of washington but the problem is that I am out of state for both. UW will cost about $35000 a year and UCSD will cost about $45000 per year. My parents have basically told me that they won't pay the extra money for me to go to UCSD. Is there any way to reduce the cost of going to UCSD? How can I come up with the extra $10,000 per year? Will calling the financial aid office of ucsd and asking for more aid help me? or should i just give up and accept that i can't go to ucsd....
