Freshman Seminars

I'm just curious - how is the workload in freshman seminars? Do you have to write any papers? It seems like it would be easy since they're only one unit of credit, but I just wanted to check...
p.s. I really did search for answers on this before posting.

Generally they are very easy. The freshman seminar I took way back involved reading a few articles a week and writing one short paper at the end of the quarter. If you did reasonably well then you got a pass (and nobody in my seminar failed...even the guy who kept falling asleep).

are there new seminars created every quarter for freshmen, or are the ones that are now posted online still going to be available in winter/spring quarter, too?
