| OKAY I CALLED:
They said that there is a span of time for the stuff to get received, and if the box on your checklist ISN'T checked on July 15, then they told me to call back on July 16th and they said I was safe if I do that. (that is if you sent everything in and did everything right) But it seemed like she was saying I was "safe" because I called in and made and effort. If you guys are having problems...I would call in just to be safe.

| Try calling again, sometimes it gives me that, but when you call again, it'll probably transfer you to the right person. |

| yea i never delt with the mailbox thing when calling. i went through a series of recorded people telling me to press the number i wanted, then ultimately i got to a real person and i gave her my id number and we talked it through. |

| Yeahh, so I JUST called them and someone answered and they ask for your ID/Name/Date of birth etc etc and they told me that they JUST put it in today so I should be able to see it tomorrow. I think a lot of us aren't being able to get through because so many people are calling today about the transcript thing. Just keep calling guys! |

| I just got off the phone with them. They received my transcript today, so most people should be fine even if their website doesn't indicate so.
Still, call! |

| i walked up to their processing office and asked about my transcripts which they still have not received.
they said they only have to be POSTMARKED by the 15th and that they were extremely backlogged. The women at the desk was very helpful and told me not to worry and to wait till the end of the month and if it still was not checked on teh website to call in and they would help me out. |

| Honestly I don't think they can rescind our acceptance or anything since this issue isn't in our hands! It would be "hella outta pocket" from them to put this on us. |

-Yes they can. If it means driving a couple hundred miles to make sure it gets there, then that's what you have to do.
"they said they only have to be POSTMARKED by the 15th"
- This is the truth. |

| Aren't the schools responsible for sending in transcripts? My college counselor says UCSD gives leeway to high schools because they know that high schools are often backlogged and have to do things at their own pace. I'm not sure though... |
