| transcripts received?
For those that have had their transcripts received by SD, how long did it take for them to update the checklist? I requested my transcripts 6/20 and they said it would take 7 working days max to get it sent out, so it's been 2 days past that and my checklist for transcripts still isn't updated. Anyone?

they say on the website that it takes from 10 to 21 days to process, the time being closer to 21 days around now, in the beginning of July.

Does anyone know if we can call/e-mail if they received our transcripts? On a FAQ they say:
"If your transcripts are NOT noted there as received, contact your previous educational institution. After 2 weeks once your institution has confirmed transcripts were sent, check MyApplicatoin again. If not there, contact the UCSD Admissions Processing office by use of the email link at the bottom of the screen "Contact us" or call (858)534-4208. Please do not call before then, it only delays the process."
So after 2 weeks we can call about our transcripts? That will be a little too close to the deadline if I would have to send my transcript again. Should I call/e-mail or just wait a week and check then? Just getting a little paranoid as the deadline approaches.

what is the difference between the check mark for transcripts received - requirements met and transcripts verified? Why would one be checked without the other?

I would call right away on this. This has happened in the past (search past postings). If your school fails to send them UCSD can rescind you. Call your school and ask them to send them again and don't delay. Also call UCSD to verify that they for sure don't have your transcript.

I just called and a really nice lady picked up. I asked her to check if they received my transcripts but she said they were still working through tons of transcripts and mine haven't shown up yet. So she told me to check and make sure my school sent it to the right address and to call back 1 week later.

Go to the admissions site, get the correct address and call your school to verify that they have sent it out.

Should I start worrying if myapplication hasn't been updated with my transcripts as received? It has to be there.. but they just haven't processed it? My college sent it out 6/26 and it should only take a day or two to get there right?
to siberia88 and anyone else who's transcripts have been received- how long did it take for myapplication to be updated from the day your transcripts were sent?

punk&disorderly, i don't think that would be a problem. My school give us the transcripts and let us mail them ourselves every year. It's ok as long as you don't open it.

Is it postmarked by July 15 or received by that date? It's inconsistent on different web pages.
