revelle help me make sense of my AP scores

I'm having trouble figuring out which courses I need to sign up for in August. My orientation is in September so I won't be able to seek any academic advising. My AP scores are as followed
Chem 4, Macroeconomics 4, English Language 4, English Lit 4, French Lang 3, Calc BC 5, U.S. History 4, Biology 4.

I am in Revelle. I tried my best to figure out from the Revelle website which courses I'll need to sign up for. I came to the conclusion that I will need to take the HUM series, 1 quarter of the American Cultures requirement, 1 quarter of the Fine Arts, and 1 course of an Area of Focus. The GE's that I left out are either satisfied through AP test scores or through courses that I will end up taking anyways as a part of the bioengineering route. These are just the courses that, in a sense, are "extra" things I need to do in order to graduate. However, I am confused as to what I'm supposed to do for the Language Requirement. My score of 3 in French does not fully exempt me. Do I need to take a proficiency exam when school starts? Or do I sign up for a french course in August? According to the chart, my score of 3 gives me 8 credits and I am exempt from Ling. 1C/1CX, and I should enroll in Ling. 1D/1DX or Lit 2A. I'm not sure what those courses are. What do I do?

Also, I do intend on applying to medical school in the future unless my interests change in college. Since medical schools don't take AP credits, does that mean whatever exemptions I have earned in biology, chemistry, and calculus should be ignored and I should enroll in entry level courses for these subjects? For example, I am exempt from taking Math 20A,B , but I need to take these courses in order to satisfy medical school's requirement of 1 year of calculus. The same applies for chemistry and biology. Is all this true?

I apologize in advance for this lengthy post of technical questions.

Hey, I can help with your French question, I know it's really confusing! So for Revelle it says you need at least the equivalent of a fourth quarter french class. At UCSD the french language classes go: 1A/AX, 1B/BX, 1C/CX, and 1D/DX. You have to enroll in both parts (1D AND 1DX for example) to get full credit for the class. French Literature 2A is also the same level as 1D/DX. BASICALLY, since you didn't test out of the requirement (I didn't either ) you have to sign up for EITHER 1D/DX OR Lit 2A, because those are the two fourth-quarter language classes. After you complete that you'll be done with your foreign language req.

p.s. just fyi, you can't go back and do 1C/CX because you already passed out of it and UCSD won't give you credit.
