Muir vs Warren

Adela8Adela8 Registered User Posts: 70 Junior Member
i'm applying as "undeclared, physical sciences" (maybe physics or even engineering if possible)

so far here is how Iranked the colleges:
1. muir/ warren
2. warren/ muir
3. sixth
4. marshall
5. ERC
6. revelle

i have a very hard time deciding bw muir and warren.
i'm leaning towards muir, although warren is recommended for engineers.

help me decide pls!!

it really doesn't matter and if both choices are good to have, then you'll be happy in both? generally revelle and ERC get the most complaints, i wouldn't fret about having to choose between any of the others.

Warren. It is better than anything you can possibly imagine, including Muir.

Warren is kinda like its own little haven. It can feel isolating at times, but it's peaceful too. I like it.

Muir is nice cuz it's close to everything and it's in between Revelle and Marshall so you get to interact more with ppl from other colleges.

    warren has more flexible GE's

warren you can pick perspectives of social science and take any social science class you wish to fulfill requirements. where as muir you have to follow a sequence

Muir probably has more social life.

    what about pros/cons of both?

    thanks again

dont consider social life when picking your colleges, its plain dumb...

I live at home with my parents and have a great social life, living on campus isnt going to make things easier if you are not an outgoing person anyways.

pick what college best suits your interests / general education woes

All this talk about a social life has got me scratching my head. It doesn't matter whichever college you pick, there will ALWAYS be a social life. Personally, I picked warren because of its GEs.

Warren and Muir's GE's are basically the same.

I'd say just close your eyes and pick :) You won't regret either way
