Oyama, I'd totally be up for working out together. You'll probably recognize me from the hooks I use for heavier pulls.

Yeah, that'd be easy to spot. I see straps being used every once in a while for deads or rack pulls, but never hooks.

Do you power or oly lift?

I tend to lift towards the bodybuilding style since I'm trying to build mass, lots of mass. I'm definitely not one of those guys that says they don't want to get bulky. I do bench more like a powerlifter, but that's because of my shoulder.

You sound a lot like me haha. I was a PL'er at 67kg class and had a 950+ total raw. I eventually got a mild injury on my back from rounding it so much from squats/deads that I had to give it up. Now I'm just trying to get some mass back since I've been out of the gym for about 5 months.

But yeah, definitely let me know when you're in La Jolla.

Unfortunately I've had to give up any kind of heavy pulls for the last two weeks due to golfers elbow (tendonitis), and I'll probably be out for another week. I'm just getting over being sick too. I guess that's well timed...might as well do everything that'll prevent lifting hard all at one time. Times like this really make me feel old.
