This question is mainly addressed to people who play electric guitar/another instrument @ SD. Is there a guitar recreation area or something like that where one might find an amplifier to plug into? I wasn't able to bring my old amplifier due to size.

I saw a piano at Middle Earth, wondering if there is some place to play electric guitar without driving your suitemates crazy?

in argo at revelle theres piano rooms that you can prob use for guitar prac too...im not sure how you get to use them but im sure if u ask res life they'll help you

you can pick up the keys at the reslife office and leave your ID with them while you're in the [soundproof and smelly] piano rooms
