Walk to Villa La Jolla Drive (the big 4 way intersection where you see a gas station, and behind you is the sixth college entrance). And walk up the big hill with the gas station being on your left and Rock Bottom being on your right. The first little light you see (it's about 3/4 of the way up the hill) turn left and into the little plaza. They have Domino's there, Sushi, Pho, and Yogurt.

If you made it to the plaza with BJ's, Whole Foods and CVS, you've walked too far.

(: no problem. It's actually pretty good, too. And if you can find someone with a car.. well, go to Convoy, and it's even better.

Really? To be honest, I think it's the worst pho I've ever had.

Pho La Jolla is the place to go if you're desperate since it's horribly overpriced. If you want to eat pho a lot then join VSA even if it means you're just going for the food-- they offer free rides to Convoy on their pho runs.

If you're ever in Mira Mesa, there's also pho ca dao- I personally prefer it to the one on convoy.

Tofu House on Convoy is my favorite place for Korean food. Located next to Yogurt World.

And Tap-Ex!

If you ever want late-night ramen, or Japanese food, go to Tajima's
It's supersuper yummy when you're craving food at 3 in the morning. It's right across the street from the whole Tofu House complex. There's also a Crab Hut there, another Pho restaurant, and Nozomi's.. mm

I just ate at Tofu House tonight

You can take the bus down there, by taking the 41 from UCSD (goes to Fashion Valley) and transfer either to the 27 or the 44, which will drop you off along Convoy Street!
Just look up trips at:
Transit.511sd.com

Another option is a Zipcar.. they cost roughly $7-8/hr, so you could rent one for an hour and a half and go with your friends & split the cost? It's pretty reasonable if you do it that way, like $3 a person for the car.. the bus takes about 40-50 minutes to get to Convoy, and then another 40-50 to get back to UCSD. By car, it takes about 10-15 minutes.. it's reasonably close (:
