sat II: chem: 730
math II: 700 ( but planning to retake)

ACT: 30 ( aiming for a 33 next time)

EC: 4 years interact club, 3 years Hero club, level 10 piano, about 200 hours community service, 2 years CSF

4030+((1860+730+700)(.8) +500+150+300 = 7612 ur off by over 200 pts.. unlikely... but possible

You'd have a better chance if you increased your SAT score. I'd do that instead of retaking the math subject test.

I agree with Physalis, try to increase your SAT a little bit , can you take the November or Dec one?

Sounds a lot like mine and I got in. Our SATs are nearly identical. I got a 1830. So if that helps any.

Your ACT & grades and everything else will get you in.

Your scores look similar to mine.. I didn't take the SAT I on purpose, cause compared to my ACT, I'd have scored significantly lower. But whatever, UCSD will convert your ACT to the SAT score which will exceed 2050+ and you'll be fine (:

You have a good chance. Dont bother retaking the SAT II's your scores are good enough. Your GPA + ECs are decent. I think your ACT is able to make up for your SAT. good luck=]

Even when using 2050 ur still off by close to thirty pts... but that ur gaurenteed a winter spot...
