Ucsd muir and warren students only

I just got admitted into Warren College at UCSD, and it was my first choice, mainly because I do not wanna take another calc class, since I already took 1 and 2 and I really don't want to do the 2 Muir writing classes. Anyway, I wasn't very sure of why I chose Warren because this whole college system is so confusing so I just did a quick research on it and picked back when I applied.
My question is: if you chose to go to Muir or Warren, please tell me which one you chose and why? (also why not the other)
And for those who are already attending Muir or Warren or graduated from there it would help if you list any pros/cons or graduation reqs for the college that you went to.

2--- Just to answer your question, I chose Muir because of the GEs. Its pretty simple overall. And with Muir, the writing course isnt really all that bad if you just put the work in. What a lot of my second year friends have told me is people just say its really hard because they just mess around and throw their essay together at the last second.
But if you really did find out already that you got in and you were admitted to Warren, you cant switch.

I chose Warren because most engineers go there.

I found out because I'll be going in Winter so in a couple of months and the decisions are out. Avib0y did you have to take the three calculus series? also how do I go about switching if I do decide to switch?

switching colleges, from what is written here on CC, is almost impossible.

So you're a winter admit from last year... ok, that makes sense then.

Lets see... for the math stuff, you can either do 1 sequence of calculus, which means 3 classes (unless you tested out via the AP tests for a few of them) or you can do a sequence of a science (so either 3 chem, 3 cog sci, etc).

I'm pre-med so I'm doing math, chem, bio, and the works. So it wouldnt make a difference what college I'm at.

The only way you can switch is if you can clearly show that by switching you can graduate sooner or it helps you with your major. IE- Its easy to switch from Muir to Warren if you are an engineering major since Warren is about engineering.

So essentially, there is no way to switch to Muir mainly because Muir doesnt really focus on anything in specific so there really is no just cause to want to switch to Muir other than you want an easier time, which they wont give you

Warren is fine, its not like you are in Revelle or something with ****ty GE's. Warren's Writing program although two classes SUCKS

Well from what I've gathered in Muir you have to take certain sequences and in Warren you can pick and pull individual classes for some things. Am I right on that?

Thank you guys for all the info, especially Avib0y. I guess when I picked Warren I did for a good reason, so I'm gonna stick with it. I am so not taking calc and science classes, I'd rather take 10 writing classes than the third calc class that I need. Thanks a lot!
