I submitted mine anyway. I think I have about 110 college credits.

it's actually a condition of your admission contract, so yes it is necessary.

That's why I turned mine in, but it also says that AP/IP test results must be received by the deadline, yet the Admissions office told me today that you don't turn those in if you didn't take any...naturally. But since there's an exception for that, there may also be an exception for high school transcripts.

I actually have AP results, but they're 15 years old and wouldn't help my degree at this point even if they're still good, so I'm not even going to bother. I may also have another transcript out there somewhere, but the hell if I'm going to track it down.

the contract's explicit:
"By July 15, 2009, we must receive:
• Official high school and college transcripts including Spring 2009 grades.
• Full IGETC certification form.
• Official AP (Advanced Placement) test results (sent directly from the testing agency).
• Official transcripts sent directly from any schools (colleges/universities) attended outside the
United States. If your college has planned a July orientation, all transcripts should be received
by the Office of Admissions at least two weeks prior to orientation."
