Basically, UCI, UCD, and UCSB are interchangeable from what I've seen. You'll always be able to find someone rejected from UCD but accepted to UCSB/UCI, or rejected from UCSB but accepted to UCI/UCD, and all the other variations you can think of.
haha i got in everything, but i think it really depends on teh major that ur going for, i have a friend who got into UCSB and davis with just a 3.4 GPA and a 1700 for SAT score, however thers another guy with 2200 and 3.7-8 who didnt even get in DAVIS. SB actually i think is less than davis of course cus davis got more applicants...overall SB is better than davis in almost every subject matter cept biology, and their Engineering is top 20 in the U.S
