| its gonna sound stupid but for each dept you have to fax them your transcripts and get them to clear the restriction...i sent mine late monday night and they were cleared when i woke up tuesday morning they even e-mailed me and let me know...just loook up the dept fax # and send a copr of your transcripts with your perm# and they will clear them if you have meet them....i dont think you can take upper division courses until you have fully declared with your counselor and i dont know how that process works yet |

| yeah i meant student resource and park in lot 22, i'm going to be so tired, hope everything that is scheudle isn't as long, it seems to be stretched out, like to head home before rush hour. Talk to financial aid and add the school code to your fafasa asap. |

For the FAFSA..all you do is edit you 2007-2008 FAFSA App to include UCSB in there. and call the FAO a week later to make sure they got it. |

| well i'm still kind of tired and woozy from my long day and long drive to the summer transition thing, So did anyone else enjoy it or learned something? Anyways i guess i picked up a few things i learned, but nothing that i couldn't figure out on my own or find out through email. Some people left right during break and didn't come back to the first part of the transition thing, which was kind of funny. Got to meet and talk to some people so that was cool.

| i felt like they tried to intimidate you by saying and showing how hard its going to be and etc. Funny when that guy said he doesn't really read and asked if that was going to be a problem haha. I wonder what happens when you plan to attend summer but the classes are full, submitted your housing contract and moved in, then you go to crash the class and you don't get added? i guess you can check the scheudle if any spaces opens up. i think some people couldn't get help from advisement cause classes for summer were full so it was kind of hard to plan a schedule. I think i want to take a pass/no pass class, i think you get credit for it. |

| i think i' only going to start out with 4, don't want to get overloaded and mess up my gpa or something even though its only 2 classes. So the upper division classes i read has 100 or higher next to it, 200 i think its the graduate level. And they said take 40 units of your major and 20 of other upp division right? that means any upp division class? so are most people here taking session B? |
