Why not just go to Berkeley or UCLA? I'm sure your stats are way beyond theirs.

I'm planning on cardiac surgery, or cardiology if that's not practical in 8 years (it's a dying breed). I actually have nothing against UCLA, although I wouldn't trade doing undergrad at UCSB for the world. I might transfer if it means increasing my chances for med school; I'm very serious about getting in.

i wanna go to UCSB cuz undergrad doesnt matter all that much to me as long as i get my internships and get my MCATs, and i wanna have some fun while i can

yea i just got rejected from UCD today..im in complete shock...they said probably after May 1st

3 questions,

who's gotten into ucsb on an appeal?
who's gotten rejected?

and how? letter in the mail? email? logging into website w/o notification? telegraph? message via carrier pigeon?
