| Inside Isla Vista, there's two mini markets, one called IV Market and the other one called Keg & Bottle which are both on Embarcadero Del Mar. Unfortunately, there aren't major chain supermarkets within IV which I've always thought was stupid. The closest one to IV is the Albertsons next to the big Camino Real Shopping Center which is about 1.5 miles away. If you want to venture out a little further, there's a Vons, Albertsons, and Trader Joes in the Fairview Center which is about 3.75 miles from IV. Rounding out the major chains is a Ralph's on Patterson & Hollister about 4.5 miles from IV. |
