For those who went to Summer Transitions Orientation

Ok, so I was planning on going to the May 30th orientation. But what exactly did you guys do? Did you talk to an adviser for registering for classes? Let me know the details please....

Thanks

i got there at 830 they did presentations on different systems, requirements, programs that ucsb offers until 12 and then you got to meet with your advisers at 1 and they tell what classes you need to take to summer to start taking upper division courses in the fall

you can also get your id picture taken and get your id card. It was worth going and you have a chance to meet some people that you will probably see in the summer

yeah i met some people like cal, was disspointed that pretty much all the classes were full so i really ouldn't talk to my department advisor on what to take for summer and i guess even fall. I think they said you have to 20 20 units of upper division courses so i'll have to seee if any one of those classes are available. Thinking of switching to session B though.

I haven't gotten the ACCESS card yet, but as I read from the handbook they gave us, the colored one is the one that you use like a debit card, you put money into it and you can use it around the campus for food and stuff.

Wow, that was boring! Lots of stuff that we could've learned just by looking at the website.
