Cal Grant not Confirmed

The fee deadline has come and passed and I have yet to recieve the cal grant B award because it reads as NOT CONFIRMED. I already recieved Pell Grant and UC Grant. Is anyone having the same problem, or can offer a suggestion on this issue?

Talk to the Financial Aid office (call, don't email) and ask about deferring your payment. I don't know if you can defer after the deadline but it's worth a try. You pay $15-20 to put off payment until financial aid kicks in.

I think I remember reading somewhere that last year the Cal Grants didn't come in until school actually started or the week later. But you would want to talk to the FA office about it and see what's normal.

there is one additional form to fill out which you are probably missing. CALL and ask the UCSB financial aid about it... they will have on file what you need to fill out. i did it, sent it to the cal grant people and got it approved within a day or two.
