Campus Insurance?

I read that you are required to have insurance, but I already have insurance so is it possible to get the insurance waived? If so, who can I contact or what can I do?

You have until 9/1/12 to submit the waiver. You go into your MyUCSC account and view messages, my messages, and at some point there will be a message about insurance and a link to the online waiver request. Some more info here:

I don't think they have opened up the waiver option yet - you can keep checking back on this web site and keep checking your portal for emails. UC Santa Cruz Student Health Center

The waiver is good for one academic year and then you have to renew it each year, from what I read on the website.
