What is the best pre-pharm major at UCSC? I heard about Health Sciences but isn't the spanish unnecessary work for Pharmacy?

im looking for a pre-pharm major also. and if you're going to be working in socal then spanish is definetly a must hehe

I don't go to UCSC (yet), but here is what I would recomment:

cellular and molecular biology.

health science

neuroscience and behavior.

However, as long as you complete the necessary prerequisites, the major doesn't matter much; I'm guessing that in some instances, a "non-health" major might give your application a little extra kick.
