Will i get rescinded?

My school's GPA calculation is really wierd and I dont understand it.
Can anyone tell me if my admission will get rescinded for either the following grades
Bio B
Philosophy B
Calc AP C
Physics B
English B
Spanish 4 AP B
AP Gov B

Or

Bio B
Philosophy B
Calc AP C
Physics B
English C
Spanish 4 AP C
AP Gov B

Or
Bio B
Philosophy B
Calc AP C
Physics B
English C
Spanish 4 AP B
AP Gov B

Not to scare you man, but a girl at my school just got her acceptance rescinded for getting a D in Trig (the rest of her grades were A's, including 4 AP classes.) She was planning to take it over the summer, but they weren't having any of that.

did she get rescinded from ucsc?

i had a d in calc.. but i brought it up to a c.. iono. im scared though, because my gpa may not be a 3.0. But i am hoping i will get an a in philosophy and only 1 c on my report card.

so the 3.0 Weighted GPA doesn't matter?
because there is a chance that i might get like a 2.9 gpa..

srry but this is what i told my mom.. and now i am freaking out. i have like a 89.1 in bio and i worked my ass off for the final and got a stupid 91% the teacher still wont give me a 90.. even though i aced all her tests.. her labs are what got my grade down... she didnt even write all the directions on them!

Yeah, UCSC. Right now she's trying to make it into Riverside or Merced since she HAS to go to a four year college (she lives with her aunt and will have to pay rent if she stays at home.)

Fat chance! If she got rejected from UCSC, she's probably going to be rejected from Riverside; I don't know about Merced though.

My friend told me about someone who has 2 F's [at least thats what i heard] and she explained her situation to UCSC and they said that it's okay as long as she works on it during summer and she keeps them updated on her grades. But my question is, what if you arent sure if your grades are going to be crappy or not to tell UCSC beforehand? Because I have been emailing my teachers, and they havent been replying with my grades, so I have to wait until Saturday to find out and it may be too late by then to tell UCSC and explain why my grades are so crappy.

Yeah, they already told her she's rescinded. But right now she's really fighting to get back in.

That sucks. It will be especially difficult since UCSC overaccepted a bit this year. =( Thats why I am so scared, they may be more eager to kick a bunch of students out.

Fresh Elephant: surely if she can afford to go to a 4 year university, she can use that money to pay for her aunt's rent. and she should also look at some state colleges if she desperately needs to attend a 4 year university.

Juniorita: I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about. If you maintain those grades, you have not violated their contract of admissions. They will rescind you if you in some way violate their contract, say if you get a D.

I was rescinded from UCSC last summer for getting D's both semesters in PreCalculus my senior year of high school. But now I'm back in because I went to community college and worked my ass off to meet the minimum transfer requirements so I could transfer as a junior.

She was not planning on paying UCSC full freight as she was relying on financial aid (which was not bad.)

WOW! That must of sucked! And to think, I got in without even taking Pre-Calc (I wanted 1st period off because I'm lazy, 8:00am is a bit early for me).
BTW my Adv-Algebra grades were
1st semester: B
2nd semester: B
Was UCSC your 1st choice?

Isn't it 3.0 on a weighted basis with AP courses counting an extra point (for UCSC)? I think that is what the college website provides unless a student gets a D or F in the AP course, in which case he or she loses the extra point. Also, isn't it calculated on a final grade basis (as opposed to a grade in a single quarter or semester)? Can anyone confirm this?
