Housing Specifications

I just recently turned in my acceptance of admission to UCSC along with which I paid the fee, and listed my college choices.

It was an 8 step process but none of those steps included a survey of what kind of room (single, double, triple) you want to be in or questions like music preference, tidiness, the usual roommate match-up kind of questions, etc...

When do we get to answer those kinds of questions (pick our type of room, answer roommate questions)? Once they've already assigned us a college? So mid-May??? or when?

Does anyone know where all the asians stay? I am most likely going to attend UCSC and I wanted to know if Oakes College is where most of the asians room. However i really like colleges nine and ten but i don't want to room w a bunch of white people and feel secluded. Can anyone help me out?
