The 'Spring Spotlight Tour' Thread. Share your Experiences!

I thought since most of us are going on the Spring Spotlight Tour this week or very soon, there should be a thread to share experiences, impressions, stories, etc. Talk about your impressions of the tour guides, the food, the various colleges, the looks of the campus, etc. Be sure to include positives and negatives about UCSC.

The tour itself was pretty basic and it didn't do much for me. But when we went back the next day and got to check out the inside of dorms and colleges and talked to some of the students I liked it a lot.
