though i dont think you can do anything about it now, cowell stevenson has dining hall construction going on until next year so for breakfast (if you want it and trust me you probably will), cowell stevenson people have to make it up that darned hill to the crown merrill dining hall!

yahh and they didnt tell us this, but Porters is under contruction too from spring 09 to winter 10. and theyre closing down an entire dorm...rawwrrr.

oh man...i heard people in stevenson and cowell have to go up the hill to merill for meals.
that sounds pretty horrible. i hear that hill is the biggest on campus.

I got into porter. I guess Porter freshmen class is gonna be kinda small huh(somehting in the 200-300s). I have an unrelated question, if you guys wouldn't mind helping me out. Are there any dedicated forums to UCSC to talk to other students or do we have to use sites like this to talk?

Ronald - The UCSC thread here is about the best you are gonna get. I personally check this thread out daily. There are a few other places to look for people. The soompi forums --> Colleges --> UCSC. Also the UCSC class of '12 facebook is cool.
