Pick a college on whether you like it, not because you want to be around other asians.

Female Residence Hall - all female- You need to be a female to be on the floor and only females are allowed in the bathroom on the floor.

Single Gender Apartment - Not really available to Freshmen but it is like it sounds... your own bathroom and your own apartment. Single Gender apartment differs from Single gender residence hall. Residence hall is cheaper and you still share a communal bathroom. Both options are not usually options for Freshmen, especially not single gender apartments.

Transfer Residence Hall - Not available for Freshmen

Transfer Student Apartment - Not available for Freshmen

All Gender Neutral - 95% sure it means guyz and girls share the same rooms. In everything but gender neutral halls, guyz bunk separate from girls but in gender neutral rooms, I think you could have a girl roommate if you're a guy and a guy roommate if you're a girl.

If you apply for residence hall, you will get that most likely, yes.

Jennifer, which college did you get into?

^If your college does not have the option for a 'all male' floor, then you will be sharing a large bathroom with the chicks too. You will want to just put down single residence hall as your first choice and double residence hall as your second choice. You will most likely receive the latter. Don't worry about sharing the bathroom with the girls... you can't smell that bad.

if you're in crown
chances are that if you're a freshman you will not be in a single (i know of one freshman that has a single and her parents called the school to get that to happen)
and if you ALSO want to have one gender restroom, you will get one or the other (i believe). same gender restrooms are usually second floor which consists of all doubles and a triple (this may change)
