i am a community college student filling out some apps in the fall and i have had my eye on the bioinformatics program at ucsc. i have a 3.2 gpa and the following grades in some of the core undergraduate work.

CMPS 12B 'A'
Chem 1a 'B'
Chem 1b 'B'
chem 1c 'B'
MATH 19A 'A'


im gonna do math 19b+c and Biol 20A before i transfer

anyways i hear their admittance rate is around 15% into the program if anyone can shed some light on this topic i would be greatful!
