AlcoholEdu

I didn't get an 80% score on the exam. Do I have to retake it?

No. It is not even a requirement that you take the test in the first place.

"we require all incoming first-year students to successfully complete AlcoholEdu for College"

"Students who do not complete Part 1 will not be able to enroll in winter quarter classes, and students who do not complete Part 2 will not be able to enroll in spring quarter classes."

"You must earn a grade of 80 or higher to pass. The deadline to successfully complete Part 1 is September 16, 2009."

It sounds to me like you should.

woooooowwwwww I don't remember it having severe consequences last year...it might just be a bluff. Either way, just do it. I mean, how lame would it be if you couldn't enroll in classes because you didn't pass AlcoholEdu?

I didn't even open up the alcoholedu webpage last year and nothing happened to me. It sounds to me like these are empty threats.

Here is the ironic thing... the purpose of alcoholedu is to prevent students from drinking. My roommate completed the program early enough to get a free t-shirt, yet he drank every other night consistently.

Yeah I think they're empty threats too

But I guess...

Better safe than sorry?

Well instead of trying to rebel against the system, just do the stupid thing. So you waste 2-3 hours of your time. That's a lot easier than facing the consequences of not doing it, even if they are empty threats.
