Can I get in with these low stats??? )':

Female asian ): in SoCAL; attends a competitive and well known high school
GPA: unweighted- 3.1; weighted 3.3 (REALLY BAD)
SATS: SAT I: 1810; SAT II: Bio- 590, US History- 620
Honors/ AP:
- English I, II & III Honors
- AP Biology
- AP US History
- AP Literature
- AP Econ/ Gov
ECs:
- 2 years class officer (both social chair officer)
- 2 years CNKR officer (a fundraising club; publicity officer)
- 1 year volunteering @ local hospital
- 50 hours community service ): (sob. very low..)
- 1 year Operation Smile club
- 4 years Class of 2010 Committee
- 4 years string orchestra

... How does it look D: ?? What can I do to bump up my chances to get in?

UCSC Parent and Guardian Guide

seems like the gpa mean was 3.76 for freshman and the SAT mean was 1797 for FALL 2009 admits

maybe if you could explain why your gpa is around a B average? Other than your GPA, all your other stats are above par and should serve you well.

My gpa is really horrible because well..
1. Yes. Laziness ):
2. I am bad at math and science; the grades i got in there (too many Cs and Bs..) really pulled me down ):

my projected gpa is about a 3.2. but i plan on getting arond 2000 on the SAT's. good luck i hope we make it

i just got my october SATs back and I got an 1850-- not much of a difference I know but... its better... hahaha.....

If you can manage to write a really fancy essay then you should be fine. Since you seem to have stronger literature skills, this shouldn't be too difficult for you.
