What were your stats guys ? And I sent in a reactivation form to change my term from
fall to summer and I got this email today:
Recently you submitted a Reactivation Form for admission into UCF. Because you applied for our Fall 2011 academic term, your application is already being considered for the Summer 2011 term, therefore, we are deactivating your reactivation form - there is no need to submit the form for Summer review. The application process is one that takes time, since we give consideration to each individual. I know you are probably anxious for decision and I appreciate your patience and understanding. Please realize that your academic credentials, ACT scores, SAT scores, and high school grade point average, are on the low side of our midranges, which in turn hurts your competitiveness for admission. As such, it may take a bit longer for you to receive an admission decision, but please know, this delay in response does allow you optimal consideration. Also please understand that the admission process is a competitive one. The committee will hold your application while they assess the competitiveness of the applicant pool to see if your file becomes more competitive for admission later in the semester. Again, the committee also considers every fall applicant for summer admission if their application criteria is just under our midranges. It may be helpful for you to review the midranges of our Fall 2010 Freshman Class as well. I have listed these midranges below for you to review, but it is important to note that ranges represent the middle 50% of our Fall 2010 Freshman Class. This means, that 25% of our Freshmen students for Fall 2010, fell above and below these ranges. It is always best to fall in between or around these ranges to be competitive. However, these ranges are not minimums. Midrange High School GPA: 3.5 - 4.1Midrange SAT: 1170 - 1300Midrange ACT: 25 -29
I'm not sure that this is better than a defferal or not ? Like it sounds to me like they're just wating to see if they will have any room left for me. But deferred would mean that i HAVE to improve right? What do you guys think ?
Ughh this is soo stressful. Except my GPA isn't below their midrange I don't think... should be above. I haven't calculated my ucf GPA :/
